Herbal happenings

IMG_20130512_150556As a herbalist in the community a vital element of my work is sharing plant medicine knowledge and health information so that we can all build better health together. I offer:

- Workshops giving introductions to herbal medicine
- Herb walks through the seasons in areas local to me, to explore what our natural heritage is in terms of healing plants and how we can use them in our lives
- Practical pharmacy sessions showing how to make natural medicines like salves & syrups with native herbs

Meet, share ideas and knowledge, and explore how we can improve current states of health and illness, of the individual and of society. Everyone is welcome.
Do contact me if you are interested in having sessions like this in your community, group or organisation. Visit this page to keep up with Hedge Herbs and friends’ events.

I won’t attend the walk on 26 January as it is difficult to get to the Waterworks Centre by 12 on Sundays. Presumably, you will start later when the days get longer?

Hi Joan! Yes we will be doing later starts as we begin to have more light – more like 2pm – and aiming to do roughly one walk a month from the spring, so will keep you posted. Sorry you can’t get to this one! but looking forward to seeing you in the next months. all best, Rasheeqa
